Event features
The KBM is endurance cross-country mountain competition designated for all categories of competitors without exceptions. The course is not suitable for road bikes. Asphalt 15%, pebble gravel 15%, silvan roads with solid surface 70%.

KADETS (Kt) - men aged from 15 to 16 years
JUNIORS (J) – men aged from 17 to 18 years
MEN (M) – men aged from 19 to 39 years
MASTERS (S) – men aged from 40 to 49 years
VETERANS (V) – men aged from 50 to 59 years
VETERANS PLUS (W) - men aged 60 years and over
JUNIORS girls (Jg) - women aged from 15 to 18 years
WOMEN (Z) – women aged from 19 to 39 years
WOMEN MASTERS (ZS) – women aged from 40 to 49 years
LADY (L) - women aged from 50 years and over
categorization depends on year of birth
• course “90” – scoring categories: M, S, V and Z
• course “50” – scoring categories: Kt, J, M, S, V, W, Jg, Z, ZS and L
• course “20” – scoring categories: Kt, J, M, S, V, W, Jg, Z, ZS and L
only winners in categories with minimum 5 participants in men categories or 3 participants in women categories will be awarded.

End of presentation is 15 minutes before the start of each category.
Participants will receive a memorable souvenir, final instructions, food and drink ticket, tombola ticket, start number and start number pins, course map with instructions.

Tombola will be held at 16:30 h. Many attractive and valuable presents are prepared for tombola-winners. All the presents will be given to the winners only in person not per procuration.

all entry forms sent by e-mail must be signed at the time of presentation. Entry form of the competitor younger than 18 years must be signed by his/her legal representative (parent).
Entry fee
The Entry fee is the same for all the categories and courses: 15 €
till 31 May 2011 there will be a 5 € discount 10 €
from 1 June 2011 till 24 June 2011 15 €
on 25 June 2011 (race day) 20 €
The amount of the payment is determined by the date of payment of Entry fee. The Entry form is valid only with receipt of payment.
Entry fee covers costs of the participation in the event, timing, course refreshment, drink and warm meal at the finish, present from the organizer, bike-washing facilities, free camping place, shower facilities after the race.
Payment of the Entry fee

in cash during presentation. It is not possible to pay the Entry fee by the Credit Card.

Results
Unofficial results will be available on the board at start/finish area and online on the organizer’s website. Objections can be made immediately after the race, or within 7 days after the official results will be published on the organizer’s website.
Timing and results
The time will be measured by official timekeeping equipment of the VOS-TPK company manually by impulse method.
Technical assistance
Basic technical assistance will be provided at the start, finish and refreshment stations.
Awards and prizes
the first three finishers in marathon (course “90”) and halfmarathon (course “50”) will receive the prize money;
the first three in every category receive a cup and a certificate.
All prizes will be given or paid to the winners in person only, not per procuration.
Conditions
Participation of the competitors younger than 18 years is allowed only with consent of their legal representative. The basic condition of participation is good health, payment of the Entry fee and use of the cycling helmet throughout all the competition.
All competitors participate in the event on their own risk and responsibility. Organizers are not responsible for any damages of the property or injuries associated with travel to/from and stay in the Košice city or the participation in the event itself.
The competition will be held at all weather conditions. Organizer has the right to change the track and timetable of the competition. The race is held under this regulation and rules of the Merida Peloton MTB Cup.

“90” – marathon: 9 hours from the start
“50” – halfmarathon: 7 hours from the start
“20” – hobby: 5 hours from the start
Insurance
The participants are obliged to show their Health Insurance Card at request. Organizer suggests the participants to undergo the medical check-up and to take out their individual insurance.
Accommodation
Organizer does not arrange accommodation. It is possible to book the accommodation at the web site www.jahodna.sk or to camp in tents at designated area within complex Jahodná.
Cloak rooms and showers
Cloak rooms and showers are situated in the start/finish area in the building of the rehabilitation centre. It is only possible to change clothes in the cloak rooms but there is no facility for locking the clothes or personal belongings. Neither organizer nor building administrator is responsible for any belongings left in the cloak rooms.
Bike washing
It is possible to wash the bikes at designated area marked in the orientation map.
Transportation
Organizer does not arrange transportation to the start point. Start and finish area can be reached by the road from Košice towards Spišská Nová Ves, turning after 10 km at road-fork towards Jahodná. Complex Jahodná offers free parking for participants (except parking reserved for organizers).
